ITALY

If it’s value for money you’re looking for as well as lively après-ski and fantastic food, Italy ski holidays are hard to beat. Italy’s skiing spreads from the French border in the west, to the stunning Dolomites in the east, with French, Italian and German spoken in different areas. Italy’s ski resorts span some of the world’s great domains, with the Dolomiti SuperSki region and the Milky Way offering hundreds of kilometres of lift-linked slopes.

An Italian ski holiday will be as much about the eating and drinking as it will be about the skiing. And not surprisingly it makes an ideal family destination as children are made to feel welcome everywhere.
The main areas are all based within the Dolomiti Superski region, a 2,000km playground of awesome slopes perfect for intermediate skiiers and boarders:

Tre Valli
Moena, San Pellegrino Pass, Alpe di Lusia and Falcade make up one of the widest, most exciting ski areas in the region. 100km of perfect, snow-clad ski runs.

Bellamonte-Alpe di Lusia
Enjoy all the comforts at this modern ski centre boasting eight new ski lifts. 40km of snow-covered ski runs, a snow park with a halfpipe/ski jump all in a spectacular natural setting. The artificial snow system guarantees a long winter sport season and ski-runs in top condition.

Passo San Pellegrino
Excellent ski runs served by 29 ski lifts, Passo San Pellegrino-Falcade is a large resort. With 45 pistes and a total length of 30 km, the resort has an efficient ski bus service that links you to Moena in the Tre Valli.

Belluno Slope of Falcade

Experience the breathtaking scenery of Falcade. With over 60km of slopes for varying levels served by eleven ski lifts, you can even ski at night on a floodlit piste. In addition there is a snow park, children’s fun park and opportunities to go ice skating, sledding and hiking – just remember your snowshoes!

If you want to go further afield and discover more resorts in the area, we can help you with all the arrangements. Just ask.
